Thanks to the good foks at Crossway Books for sending a gift copy. My friend Nick provides an excellent review of it. Below is the content:

my only concern is, is it just too much info in one book?
How long can you continue to refuse to investigate to the bedrock of the issues. Looks like your entire lifetime to me.

By the way, in your review of the ESV you said "My discontent with dragging the Trinity into the gender debate is well documented so I won’t go into it here" in response to such a note; I wanted to point-out that egalitarian pushers started this, originally, in attempting to re-define and impose their own conceptions upon the trinity, specifically to push their views: this renders such "dragging the Trinity..." necessary to defend the Biblically depicted Trinity, which indeed shows "suboordination", which egals don't like: they had a powerful temptation to try using God as a model if by redefining the relationships within the persons of the Trinity they could pawn their point on people; but it doesn't hold water. (Personally I agree with the honest egal, Mr. J. Hobbins, that the most consistent social system found biblically is patriarchy: though oddly enough I do also share many of his sensibilities in regards relationships between man and his wife).
I comment like this because your expressed disdain on this subject negatively impugns those dragged into all this necessarily, to defend orthodox truths: before offering such criticisms I think consideration of the circumstances would be merited.
Grace.
Brian: I guess:)
Yirmeyahu: Thanks for visiting the blog.
Guy: I did not write the review, Nick did (http://rdtwot.wordpress.com/). Though, I appreciate your comment.
